Tob & Katrina's Engagement

My first contact with Tob & Katrina? Nothing to do with weddings or anything like that. Through a friend, they stumblued across this picture in my fine art gallery site and ordered a huge canvas of it. I thought that was pretty cool, so when they emailed me 2 years later to get together to talk about shooting their wedding, I was excited to meet with a couple who had already shown that they loved my work.

We tried to plan their engagement session in the late fall, but the weather wasn't cooperating, and it was a dark, wet day. We rescheduled and finally did the shoot last week, and this time we were going for it no matter what. Turns out it was a dark, wet day, but we powered through and got some really fun shots that took advantage of the wet weather. We spent the first half of the wedding at their ceremony location, Church & State Winery keeping in mind it could be super fun to have some before/after wedding photos in the same place, and then headed up to Island View beach as the sun went down. These guys braved through it all, and man did they look good! Tob was sporting his brand new birthday present jacket ( which I'm jealous of BTW ) and while we all had soaking wet feet we had a great time. Have a look.

The photo frame we'll be using for the awesome photobooth at their wedding! Good garage sale find guys!

Nice shoes K-Tron!
